The firm advises on all aspects of European Union law and has significant experience in both European and Luxembourg competition law, as well as in regulatory matters in the telecommunications and energy sectors.
As a member of GA Alliance, which has developed substantial expertise in EU and competition law, and of the Vogel Global Competition Network — an international network of law firms specialised in economic law with 61 members across 57 countries — the firm is well positioned to assist clients in all EU Member States and in numerous other jurisdictions.
The team also provides advice on sector-specific regulation, particularly in the energy, telecommunications and transport sectors, and represents clients before the Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR).
More broadly, the firm represents clients before the Luxembourg Competition Authority, other national competition authorities within the EU, all Luxembourg courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Its practice covers a wide range of competition law matters, including cartels, leniency applications, abuse of dominance, joint ventures, distribution and licensing agreements, unfair competition and damages actions.
The firm also assists clients with sector inquiries and market studies, provides support during unannounced inspections (“dawn raids”), and offers tailored competition audits, compliance programmes and training. In addition, it advises on European and Luxembourg merger control as well as on State aid issues.
